We look for Christian role models to lead on camp. All leaders must be trained in safe ministry and have an active Working With Children Check (WWCC) number.

WWCC Number

If you are 18 and in year 12, you MUST have a Working With Children Check number. Message the directors to find out how to do this if you are unsure. Junior leaders under 18 are not required to have a WWCC

Training

Have you taken any safe ministry training in the last 3 years? This is not mandatory for junior leaders under 18. If you are 18 you MUST have completed some safe ministry training prior to camp. If you are 16-17 we recommend you complete an online training session with parental supervision as it contains sensitive content. All junior leaders will also be sent a copy of the Junior Camp leader expectations and roles policy document to go through with their parent/guardian prior to camp.

Parent/Guardian consent

I understand that while every possible action will be taken to ensure the safety of my child, and while all due care will be exercised by the camp directors and Camp Fletcher staff, they will not incur any liability for any accident or sickness to my child or any damage to personal property that might occur. Should my child require urgent hospital or medical treatment, I hereby give my consent for the leaders to obtain the necessary treatment with all possible speed and for it to be at my own expense. I understand that in the event of such an emergency occurring, that wherever possible, every reasonable effort will be made to contact me before treatment is undertaken. I understand that the leaders and campers will be leaving the Camp Fletcher premises for an outing. Throughout the camp program, junior leaders will be paired with senior leaders where possible. I give permission for my child to participate in the full camp programme. I also consent to having my child's photograph taken and used for keepsakes and promotional purposes both online and offline.
